ACCTS launched the "Ghina" campaign based on the winning film "Her Factor"
The idea for this campaign stemmed from the winning documentary "Her Factor," which won the first runner up in the Religious Freedom and Business Film Competition for 2020.
The "Ghina" campaign, the Arabic word for "Wealth," sheds light on women's status quo in the field of work and the challenges women face in joining the labor market. It centers around three main axes: legal, community, and personal.
ACCTS held "Her Factor: Your Opportunity," a live panel discussion with distinguished guests, and supported the case with blogs and posts on social media.
"I felt privileged to watch the [panel] discussion. It was so informative! Watching Arab and Persian-American men and women discussing women's liberation was very moving for me, and I am excited to see where you go in the future. Thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of something so amazing!" – Keziah Cook
We believe that the campaign succeeded in achieving its desired goals, hoping that it will receive institutional, societal and Arab support.

Paving the Way for Success "The Freedom Ride Advocacy Campaign"
Unfortunately, for many reasons, women around the Middle East do not have the road to success paved. We want to equip women with life skills to enhance their income, to provide for their family influence society, and make a difference in God's kingdom.
Join us in going the extra mile in paving the way for success for women's economic empowerment without leaving your home. In September, AWT's founder, Ruba Abbassi, will cycle 800 km (500 miles). Consider sponsoring one kilometer of the journey at $30. Your gift of any size will help us see Arab women living the meaning of their life in dignity, finding inner-peace, and influencing others.

Encouraging feedback from a precious woman from Algeria
"Thank you very much for all that you do. Since this training started, many things changed, and I began to make some decisions relating to my family and marital life. I am a mother of two children, 15 and 11 years old. I desire to see my kids grow loving God, and I am doing my best to raise them on the fear of the Lord. However, it is getting harder since the churches closed because of the quarantine. Therefore, I opened my house to serve others. With the help of two sisters, who are taking the training with us, and another elder sister from the church, we were able to mentor others at my home. I am looking to develop myself and give more to my community. I am a seamstress, and I have a project through which I want to empower women economically and improve their financial situation and seize the opportunity to equip them."
At ACCTS, we are excited at the opportunities we have to train young leaders, empower women, and impact our society. We have been working hard on planning for programs and initiatives that have strong potential to bring about much-needed change. It is not a solo effort, and we would not be where we are today without the prayers and partnerships of faithful people supporting us in this endeavor.
