I had the privilege
of teaching 14 lectures
of
Manarah
Latino “Training Workers for the Kingdom” for about 30 Latinos
representing 8 countries
from South and Central
America. I was encouraged
by their teachable spirit
and desire to serve the
Lord.
The course was held
in Panama City, Panama.

Group Therapy Activity
Trauma induced by war leads to a
wide range of psychological consequences
and disorders that can be quite disabling
for individuals and their families.
In that light, ACCTS Irbid Community
Center (ICC) conducted group therapy
sessions for ladies suffering from
trauma to give them tools to personally
deal with the issue, and also to
cope with their existing situation.
I.S.R.A is a young Syrian refugee
of 17 years old. She is one of the
ladies who attended the sessions
and received one-on-one psychological
counseling services. She was 10-years-old
when the war broke out in her village;
she tells her story and remembers
the frightening events. These horrible
events affected I.S.R.A. to her core.
However, there was a marked improvement
at the end of the counseling sessions,
according to the mother's observation
and I.S.R.A herself.

Competition
The equality that women
demand is not only
an issue between
them and men, but
it is often an issue
among women themselves.
There is a common
saying, "A womanis
a
woman'sworstenemy", but
we say that "Your
strength comes
from her strength." This was the topic of
a competition that AWT
has organized and launched
on Social Media. To serve
as a platform for anyone
who has a message to
the Arab woman. A message
stemming from respect
for her, and the desire
to enable her to break
every barrier that hinders
her from being better; in
order to be as the Creator
wanted her to be.
5 videos were nominated
to win and were published
on social media for voting.
The winning video was
from Gaza, Palestine.
And the best-empowering
comment has won a prize,
too. People’s interaction
was phenomenal and very
much influential!

Protect Your Rights
Many Syrian women refugees
in Jordan lost their
legal rights due to their
ignorance of the Jordanian
law, for anyone who lives
in Jordan is subject
to the Jordanian law.
Aware of the seriousness
of this matter, ICC conducted
a lecture with the aim
to empower women with
the knowledge of the
Jordanian Personal Status
Law.

expressed their
profound gratitude
towards the initiative
and the opportunity
to be enlightened
on such an important
topic.
