Our other beneficiaries have something else to say:
A story from Jordan
My life has been turned upside down! I started to celebrate my life and achievements. I am more aware of my personality. My attitudes & character qualities changed through your discipleship in terms of relationships and boundaries. I am gaining more influence within the circle in which I serve children and impact their lives—whether my own, or Sunday school kids, or students at school. I received a letter from one of my students, whom I haven’t heard from since 15 years, saying, “Thank you for having the most important role in my life after the Lord; I am now serving him as a Sunday school teacher in the US!”
You helped me know & pursue my calling. You helped me start the women’s ministry at my church. You helped me develop a heart of compassion toward serving others. Moreover, it doesn’t end here; because the Lord has stirred up in my spirit the passion for mission work. So it doesn’t end here; because the Lord has stirred up in my spirit the passion for mission work. I’m just waiting in silence and patience his perfect timing to release me into this field and looking forward to the expansion of my ministry for his glory! In the meantime, I’m empowering myself through reading spiritual books, some of which you recommended. Also, I earned my master’s degree last January.
A story from Kuwait
I am dedicating more time to the Lord through his word, and thus gained a stronger relationship with him and enriched my life of prayer. I started to apply the teachings of Jesus in my life, which positively affected my circle of influence. I am now equipped to serve others, listen to their problems, and help solve them. I developed positive thinking and objectivity in solving matters, besides a spiritual mentality of simplicity in life. I started to let go of stacked stuff and donate them to the church.
A story from Saudi Arabia
The teaching is an eye-opening insight into new depths. It made a difference in my life and attitudes. I have applied lots of points in my house. I took some time of solitude and re-energized. Every Awt conference I attend is a push forward, a nutritious meal, and a priceless resource on which I depend. My mindset changed in some areas which positively impacted my behavior, reactions, and relationships with people. Women I serve have always been excited to receive the new material I get. I have always felt the influence of the word and experience I share with them through their private conversations.
A story from Iraq
My knowledge increased, and vision enlightened my mind. From low self-esteem to be filled with hope and aspirations now. I am more confident with a positive approach, filtering negative messages, and receiving positive ones. My relationship with the Lord has become stronger; I realized how important I am; I grew in favor with God and people. I have influenced my surroundings—in the family, home church, relatives, and work. I am calmer and wiser in making decisions, and I am now mentoring young women.
A story from Bethlehem, Palestine
I learned how to renew my mind and accept the will of God for my life. I learned how to pray “behind the scenes.” I increased monitoring myself. I practiced solitude; in this era of speed, we need quiet time; it enriches my quality time with others. I, socially and psychologically, influenced many groups of children, teenagers, and women through my work with SOS programs with which I’m sharing your material in the various conferences. Through your teaching, I gained knowledge. I am now equipped to serve better; you taught me how to detox whatever is negative in mindset and life. As a social worker, I shared some of your topics for mindset renewal and self-development within my circle of influence.
