When Humanity Surpasses All
ACCTS held a 3-day medical clinic. Approximately 500 men, women, and children from both Jordanian and Syrian refugee families were served through medicine, dentistry, counseling, dietary consultation, haircuts, children's activities, reading glasses, and prayer.

Al Husn, Jordan (ACCTS-Refugees) – From the 22nd till the 24th of May, ACCTS coordinated with New Life Providence Church located in Virginia, USA to arrange for a medical campaign at Al Husn Baptist church. The campaign was a resounding success and a good opportunity to share love and offer much-needed treatment for both Jordanian and Syrian refugee families.
A dream team from Jordan and the U.S.A. that consists of specialized doctors, volunteer translators and organizers, plus participants from ACCTS staff were privileged to serve the people and support them with medication. Medical aid was provided in the fields of: general medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology, pediatrics, nutrition, and psychology.
People received free medication that can support them
for at least one month
After the medical examination, patients were given practical guidance though a nutrition specialist, who recommended a diet and lifestyle suitable for their health conditions and necessary for its improvement. Many also received good psychiatric consultation.
Women had the chance to do some haircuts too
and there was a special program for the kids
People were very thankful and felt relieved after the sessions. Still, however, as precious and as important is the medication that we were providing, the humanity that we showed them was what truly pierced their hearts.
Humanity is the best therapy: Patients shared
“You Christians are special I love you”… “I wish I were a Christian”… “I left with a new spirit”… “Will you come again?” "I was touched by the way you treated us. You made us feel human; the way you smiled in our faces and talked to us gave us back our value."
