Sewing mends the soul

She who does her own sewing, everything she wears will be beautiful.

AlHusn, Jordan (ACCTS-AWT)-  ACCTS hosted a sewing workshop at the community center in Husn taught where the ladies learnt how to make tot bags from teacher, Sheryl Belson. Despite the chaos of teaching fourteen women on only six sewing machines and in multiple languages, the women had a blessed time.

We believe there is such beauty in women learning a craft they can hone by themselves. We are also delighted to be able to share moments like this with fellow friends.

The whole event was very enjoyable and women took home a new skill to keep for themselves.
