Female Participation in Labor Force
Around seventy women from different backgrounds were served in a celebration meeting on the occasion of Mother’s day.

Zarqa, Jordan (ACCTS-AWT) - On March 12 and on the occasion of International Women's Day 2015, ACCTS-AWT participated in a meeting arranged by PwC Audit Company. Networking took place between some pioneer women from the society sharing the same field; such as the Minister of Planning, senators, owners of firms and NGO leaders, etc.

The low female labor force participation rate in Jordan had been a topic of discussion. It was recommended that a campaign shall be launched so that women can be brought back to serve in the educational field Boards. Besides, some materials in school syllabuses ought to be changed, since some lessons are destroying the woman’s image. Consequently a paper to be lifted to the Minister of Education was signed.
