Dealing with hurt and forgiveness
Women were taught how to recognize the areas of hurt in their life and thus learn how to forgive.
6 December, 2014
Amman, Jordan (ACCTS-AWT) - On Saturday 6 of December 2014, fifteen ladies from our friends and acquaintances attended our last Jordan Women’s Workshop of 2014 entitled Dealing with hurt and forgiveness.
We believe that women should understand the importance of forgiveness and the ability in which it can grant one freedom. We were able to explain that forgiveness is a virtue that benefits the forgiver and thus liberate one’s life. Not only were women convinced by this, but they also learnt how to deal with their hurt in order to learn how to forgive.
Moreover, we had the opportunity to speak about Christian values by explaining the principle of sacrifice and punishment for sin. The ladies listened and received a new revelation to ponder on.
“Forgiveness is the fragrance that the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it.” - Mark Twain
Afterwards, those who were interested could participate in follow up sessions. This gives a platform in which women can seek advice and counsel in a private setting.
