Blooming on the Leadership Journey

A new group of young women has recently joined our Nouara Program for equipping potential leaders

March 2016

Amman – Jordan (ACCTS-AWT) – A training took place at ACCTS Offices to add a new group of potential young women to our second cohort of trained leaders under the umbrella of Nouara Equipping Program. A total number of sixteen young women are now walking the journey of transformation.

We have encouraged positive change in the lives of young women trainees

Based on the concept of intentional mentoring, accountability and encouragement are provided by Arab Woman Today (AWT).

The training addressed the Effects of Early Upbringing were topics such as; Value and overcoming the negatives of the past were tackled too.

Women attendees shared their lives; their pain, and challenges. They opened up to the teaching. They went back home to study more.

“There is a need for the topic taught. It is given at the right time”

- Women trainees mentioned

Lots of change has occurred on the personal level, too. Beatrice has experienced actual change in her life. She has been supported in her quest to become a better mom and wife, and a more educated person as well. She has begun to study counseling and to follow-up with other young women.

For more feedback.

Women were also encouraged to study the truth in God’s word more, and were offered some supportive counseling books.

This program aims to equip potential Christian women leaders in small towns far away from Amman, those who are either untrained but already occupy leading positions in churches, or ones who show potential to take active roles in churches but lack the needed competencies.

IDENTIFY… ADOPT… CHANGE… IMPACT

It’s how we achieve our goals in helping women IDENTIFY their personal, spiritual and social needs, encourage them to ADOPT the truth about themselves, lead them to pursue CHANGE in their lives, and motivate them to IMPACT others and be a voice for change in the society.
