Amman, Jordan (ACCTS-AWT) – On the 28th and 29th November, ACCTS-AWT held the fourth phase of our Leadership Program “Nouara” in ACCTS offices. The training covered five different governorates: Madaba, Aqaba, Zarqa, Al Husn and Amman.

The training imparted wisdom on how to maintain a balanced life. It was coached by a specialized Lecturer Mrs. Randa Halaseh. A good bestselling resource was referred to and adopted primarily from Equip Leadership material volume 1 entitled Today is Important.

The workshops addressed important concepts and stressed on principles, such as: Today can be wonderful, Managing my heart attitude, my priorities and health, Managing my family and thinking, Managing my relationships, Managing my personal growth.

Laila from Amman, who is one of the most active women in our training group, has never missed sharing any material she took through the Program. After being discipled, followed up and provided with the resources she needed, she started serving on a wider more concentrated and organized scale. She shares what she learns with her prayer group, giving practical homeworks, discussing the women’s progress and holding them accountable. She has even turned the material into a booklet as a gift to encourage the women she leads. On the personal level, we could notice Laila’s persistence in the process of losing weight. She was in a better shape last time we saw her and her face was glowing.

IDENTIFY… ADOPT… CHANGE… IMPACT

It is how we achieve our goals in helping women IDENTIFY their personal, spiritual and social needs, encourage them to ADOPT the truth about themselves, lead them to pursue CHANGE in their lives, and motivate them to IMPACT others and be a voice for change in the society.
