The Youth and the Genuine Citizenship Initiative
We are very grateful and proud to tell you that the second training within our 'Youth and Genuine Citizenship' initiative was a great success. ACCTS hosted and informed this latter group to integrate them with the first group, later on, facilitating more extensive follow-up courses for both.
More importantly, to prepare them for their role as genuine, Christian citizens and to empower them to make a positive change with the right tools. The intermediate dialogues – directed by a young member of the House of Parliament – strongly indicated that their souls were touched and inspired.

The spread of our Nouara Training Material
Speaking about the impact of spread inspiration, we can proudly say that we have seen this through an enlightened trainee of our Nouara course this month. Our dear Haneen started to share the course-material she followed and her spiritual growth at different occasions. First, her beautiful soul chose to discuss the biblical concept of integrity with a class of 6 years-old Sunday school children. The results were overwhelmingly heart-warming, with the children being aware of the meaning of integrity and how it can foster spiritual growth.
The second occasion consisted of a church group of almost 45 women. They all put their energy and knowledge together, to discuss the subjects of self-awareness and spiritual growth, supported by verses from the Holy Bible.

Developing Arab Men Department (AMT)
Next, we want to thank all of you who took a moment of their time to meet our prayer request for the successful construction of the Arab Men Today department. With your encouraging prayers and with the guidance of a specialist from Sweden, we were able to make considerable progress and even finish the crucial start-up phase. However, to establish the department and to attract new staff members, we are relying on the generosity of both existing and new donors. We would be most grateful for the support of this cause in any way.

The month of Ramadan and its meaning for Christians
Being in Jordan, amid the Middle-Eastern region, you can imagine that the dawn of the month of Ramadan is omnipresent. As most of you know, it is the period where all devoted Muslims detain themselves from all that penetrates the body from outside - from dawn till sunset. But it is also a time where our Muslim neighbours are seeking to abstain themselves from negative emotions (as arguing, gossiping and bitterness) and to ask forgiveness from one another.

Maeen Seminar and Iftar
We follow all words that we preach about salt and light to the community as we empower, encourage, and relationship-build ourselves. So did the 23rd of May mark the day that we kick-started with a new workshop program. This program aims to promote all Jordanian women to be more financially involved and independent, through the questioning of the rigidity of 'gender roles.' The first target group consisted of a community of powerful, Muslim women from Maeen, a village in the south-west of Madaba governance.
In the words of our General Manager, Ruba Rihani Abbassi:
"I am honored to present a workshop about advancing economic opportunities for women in Jordan. Our focus is to empower women through technology and emphasize the importance of gender equality herein".
As the energetic and engaging seminar came to an end, all the present women joined together for the Iftar.

Folkbildning "Experimental learning" and Curriculum Writing
Together with the Delta Ministry of Egypt present, ACCTS targeted school teachers, youth leaders, and church speakers to participate in a three-day seminar about experimental learning.
Following these fruitful dates, one of our staff members collaborated with Delta org., and also PMU to write the 'Experiential Learning Course' curriculum. This manual will enable youth leaders, teachers, NGO-trainers, and more to develop their knowledge about the role of facilitators, the best relationship-development with participants, and the importance of action plans and evaluation.
