Relationships
It is the third stage of the Nouara Discipleship Program (Equipping Potential Leaders which is a program originally designed by Arab Woman Today (AWT). A two-year and five phase journey with potential leaders which starts from the inside out. The visual representation of the Nouara Program is a tree shaped like a female and with the Objective of training women who already occupy leading positions in churches or those who show potential to take active roles in churches but lack the needed competencies.
Specialized lecturers and keynote speakers conduct this sensitive part of the training program; those are carefully selected from the public relations and its associated communication fields.
The third phase of the program is Relational and is represented by the tangled branches.
The Relational phase works toward building healthy relationships with self and others. It helps women to understand who they are, and what is their vision and perspective about themselves (their personal image). Such knowledge and learned truths empower women to transparently relate to their inner needs and identify the reasons behind their deeds. They also have the chance to know about the needs of others in their surroundings and therefore gaining greater impact in their sphere of influence.
The Program focuses on topics such as the Personal Image, Motivations and Inner Needs, Art of Communication with Others, Types of Characters, Art of Listening, and Body Language.
This phase of the program encourages women to develop the skill of sharing in a secure environment that enriches life-changing experiences and supports working healing in the lives of not only women beneficiaries, but also their families who witness the change. Deep issues are pinpointed and relationships are strengthened within the group of participants.
Discussions, commentary notes and even criticism offer the prospect of genuine diversity and bring an ambiance of warmth and richness to the sessions.
Consequently, tangible change is reaped on the personal level.
