Change Management

Women trainees from the different Arab nations participate in the different sessions and activities of this training program addressing the theme Change Management.

Throughout the sessions, Christian values are adopted to minister into the lives of the women participants. Initially, the concept of ‘Change’ is opened and aspects of change are broken down, which helps women better understand the psychological impact of a change in lifestyle, physical state or changes around us. Together with the use of vibrant visual aids, the attendees are greatly encouraged by the context of the lectures. Not only do many women begin to open up about their personal methods of dealing with change, but they also have the chance to speak up about their own struggles and personal issues. This tendency provides a sense of intimacy to the conference itself, and further brings women themselves closer.

A session on Change and Social Media is normally held too. Amidst the ever changing role of the social media and its effect on society, it was a very topical subject to take up. Our participants were challenged to empower and encourage those around us via Facebook or Twitter. Also, the power of internet communication in shaping mindsets is highlighted and women are advised to discern what to post and what not to post.

It has generally run as a custom during the conference that ACCTS-AWT team and/or a partner team would provide encouragment for the attendees both on stage and off stage. In addition, they would organize some arts and crafts sessions for the ladies to wind-down after a day soaking up new material.

Women may also have the chance to go off site visiting some momunents or touristic attractions to enjoy a networking experience of tea and snacks fellowship.

We are continually uplifted by the women who attend this conference year by year, and the zeal they have for their home communities. Many were greatly moved by the sessions we host and we are grateful for their partnership with us. Through it, we are able to provide new material to women already in positions of leadership and help them on their journey.

A new planned strategy of follow-up has been implemented to hold Networkers accountable after having themselves worked out their own strategic plan, touching the area that needs urgent change in their lives.

AWT desires to see those precious women reaping the fruit of change and therefore impacting their families, and eventually their society.
