Kids’ Event

Syrian and Jordanian kids had a blast in a day of fun and plenty activities organized by The Arab Center for Consulting and Training Services.

20 July 2013

Irbid, Jordan (ACCTS-AWT) - As part of the relief project, ACCTS has initiated an event that gathered Syrian and Jordanian kids, with the purpose of mingling and building bridges between the Syrian and the Jordanian families who live in Irbid and Urban sections around it.

ACCTS team worked hard in order to draw a smile on a child’s face who went through so much as a result of leaving his/her home, country and even a family member, so that he/she can feel childhood for at least one day.

“I am happy to have a gift; it has been ages since we had fun. I wish we can have such an event more often, please call us again when you repeat it.”

Yazan, a 6-year-old Syrian refugee

Kids enjoyed the cartoon characters who played with them, the cotton candy, the juice box and the refreshing bottled water that were provided for each child.
