  • Drawing my tree of roles drove me to set my priorities and expectations. For example, determining my role as daughter helped me set the time I dedicate to take care of my mother. To set a special time for caring and my expectations out of this role which is her psychological, mental, physical and spiritual health to be well. I learned that there are limits so as not to consume but plan a monthly program to include my responsibilities so that I can too care about myself and fulfill my others roles in life as a worker, a manager, a friend, and an aunt.

  • I thought that the role is part of our identity, but with this new knowledge, I realized that the role doesn’t represent the identity and who I am. This awareness led me to rearrange lots of relationships and set my priorities to be able to do my roles in giving.

  • I learned that we have to carefully select and filter our circle of friends and determine the level of friendship. And we also have to be aware of our weaknesses to avoid sudden incidents that occur in our lives. Therefore, I will filter my friendships and commit to friendship principles. I am aware of my weaknesses, and I’ll pray for them.

  • Through the tree of life, I discovered that my roles in life were not sufficient. Therefore I will work on improving them in my life. I will apply the balance in the wheel of life. I found myself in it, and I will share it in my life and at home first.

  • I learned how true friendship should be and how to care about what matters to a friend. I learned how to deal with them with responsibility and be a support in all circumstances respecting my limits.

  • Important topics. I wish the sessions were longer. I learned how to manage my tree of life; I had no balance in my wheel of life especially in the area of friendship. I realized how friendship should be! I discovered myself more, and I am now able to manage my life and friendships healthily.

  • My knowledge increased about my needs, friends, health care and balance in my wheel of life. I will try to filter my relationships and know the right timing to build friendships with commitment. And I’ll give more health care to my body.

  • I’ll pay attention to the aspects that consume me and my time and try to make balance.

  • I learned how to form a right friendship and to distinguish who is my true friend. And it’s not about having many. One who can understand me is sufficient to fulfill my need for friendship.

  • I learned where my weaknesses lie and how to grow them for my wheel of life to roll healthy.

  • I learned to be balanced and not consumed and not to allow my relationships to harm others. I learned to examine myself.

  • I learned how to set boundaries and not to exceed the limits.

  • I have already started to do my own budget. I am working on being a better listener; I now pay attention to may facial expressions while listening to my children, a subtle matter that helped both of us immeasurably. I learned that I should take care of myself without feeling guilty. I can now set my priorities straight. Above all, to lift what I can’t change to the Lord.

  • I learned from the conference to say no to things that make me uncomfortable and weary.

  • Learning about balance and making right decisions helped me make peace between my neighbors in our building. It was a day of victory over Satan.

  • The rich content I received from your training helped build me personally. Now I can share what I learned where I live.

  • I decided to give the priority to my family. I used to be always involved in work, but now I realized that I should give them all the time in the world. This helped me spend more time with them and get to know them in a better way. My relationship with my children is much better than it used to be thanks to you.

  • I am trying to apply some of the counseling advice I received with my students at school.

  • I always try to take care of others, but this time there was someone taking care of me. The lecture about forgiveness made a huge difference in my life; I changed my attitude towards others. I now share this lesson with my beloved ones.

  • I learned to put myself under pressure. I am able now to prioritize my and balance my chores in order of importance.

  • I left a small amount of my pension money in the bank in this month. I will do my best to learn how to save and run my house expenses.

  • You helped me in become wiser about how I spend the money I have. I used to get into a lot of financial problems because of my lack of organization.

  • This conference changed my perspective towards myself. It benefited my relationship with my daughter in law and my married daughter with her husband. I learned how to make myself happy, and that nobody can steal my happiness and peace.

  • I shared what I learned from the Network with my prayer group. I turned the material I learnt into a booklet as a gift to encourage them. I will do the same with the ladies’ group I lead.

  • This is the only conference I attended that cared about me.

  • Through your AWT’s 2013 Annual Network Conference, I seized the opportunity and connection with the Haggai Institute Regional Representative in the Middle East and arranged a visit for them to Iraq to create a revival place. I’m now the institute’s coordinator in Iraq. In 2014, I took the chance to offer training services to Iraqi veterans to open more doors for people in Iraq who are in dire need for any sort of help.

  • I found love, care, and encouragement in your treatment; you made me realize that I’m valuable in the eyes of God. The knowledge, experience, and methods you taught us in the training workshops and from following your social media are very beneficial to my well-being. Thanks to you, I now reflect all I learnt with the Syrian Refugees I serve with in Mafraq, Jordan.

  • I’m determined to take care of my health now; I have been encouraged to have more self-control over what I consume and get rid of my old eating habits. Because of that, my husband also got encouraged to follow the same nutritious plan I’m going to follow.
